SYNOPSIS OF THE CORE CURRICULUM:
The conception of Computer Aided Design & Drafting - CADD has
been around for over some decade. However, CADD was confined to
mini and mainframe computers for a long episode, which barred the
access of low and mid range users to it. A cutting-edge technology
came in the early 1980’s which provided PC Platforms for desktop
CADD applications which are as powerful as that in mainframes or
minis with the use of very fast processing micro computers, exceptional
color graphics display and highly accurate plotters and scanners
which are available at a very competitive and affordable price.

The course is intended to provide a fairly good working knowledge
to architects, engineers and draftsmen on the use of PCs and application
software in the field of architectural planning, engineering design
and other drawing and drafting works.
METHODOLOGY:
CADD works under Windows98/ Windows2000 or later operating system,
the most accepted and user-friendly CADD package in the world, will
be used as the application package for designing and drafting. Basic
